Pond Village, here one walks and hikes around the two main plazas and some
thirteen temples and residential structures. One gets to enjoy a detailed history of
our country and the Maya Civilization on the way. A complete tour of the site is
done in one hour and a half. There is an abundance of wild life and lush tropical
vegetation that one gets the opportunity to see, then its time to travel back to

Archaeology: Ancient Maya City exits Late Classic monuments, stucco friezes
Description:
Your tour briefing and some 70 miles on paved highway, east of Belize City,
among the northern foothills of the Maya Mountain Range, is one of the
fabled Kingdoms of the ancient Maya. It takes
1hour and 45min. to reach the site. Along the way
one gets to enjoy a detailed history of our country
and the Maya Civilization while passing through the
many villages along the Western Highway. This
journey takes us to the twin towns of Santa Elena
and San Ignacio, then onto the village of San Jose
Succots where we will be crossing a river on a

Catch the Adventure with a visit to Lamanai. Enjoy a lush wet land rain forest filled
with wild life. There’s always a chance of spotting crocodiles, iguanas, bats and
many water birds on the one hour boat ride up the new river tour to the site.
Lamanai is a historical Maya site. Your Visit includes 3 open plazas, a stela ball
court, a host of Birds and Blackhowler monkeys that roars the forest.
An hour and fifteen minutes northward out of Belize City, your disembarkation point,
along quaint country roads, secondary rainforest, Creole villages and isolated farms
we come to the New River. This journey brings you to the Orange Walk District.
Here you board a motor boat and travel for approximately one hour up stream while
seeing snail kites feeding, jacana lightly resting atop the lily pads and Morelet’s
crocodile or iguana sunning on the riverbanks and are only a few of the wildlife that
will be encountered.
Before you realize it the majestic beauty of the Maya ceremonial and trading center

Baboon Nature Hike Back to Tour Menu

The tiny riverside community of Bermudan Landing is situated approximately six miles north of Burrell Boom Village. Once only accessible by hand operated ferry, two sturdy iron bridges now extend over the deep river valley providing a picturesque view of the lush vegetation and emerald waters below.
The area is rapidly becoming a popular tourist destination as home of the famous Community Baboon Sanctuary , one of the few conservation facilities in the region for the black howler monkey.
Hike through the rain forest while spoting the troops of Black Howler in the trees above.

Cave Exploration Hike Back to Tour Menu
Explore the mystique and splendor of one cave system. See the wildlife that
surrounds you…
Description:
Tour briefing then travel for 1hour and 15min to the
St. Hermans cave. (The park is over 800 ares in
size with hiking trails and features swimming,
nature trails and St. Herman's Cave ....) Here you
will get equiped with your head lamps and start
your hike through the jungle for approximately
25 minutes. As you arrive to the entrance of the
cave you will feel the change in temperature and
enchantment of the Maya Mistique.
Hike through the cave for an hour and a half while spotting the many rock formations.
The largest of the three known entrances to St. Herman's Cave sits in a sinkhole 180
feet wide narrowing to a 60-foot wide entrance. Concrete steps cover stone steps
once cut by the Maya. A trail with markers has been placed within the cave. It's
about a half mile through to the exit
After the cave hike, its then time to travel back to the drop off area.

This is a fun packed adventure with a jungle hike followed by a cave tubing experience.

Your tour briefing and off to a one hour drive from Belize City
on the western highway to the junction of the park and then
six more miles in to the Caves Branch Nohoch Chi-en
archeological reserve.
Next is the world famous Cavetubing through the Sibun river,
Caves Branch river caves. You will get into your gears
which includes an inner tube, head lamp and life vest. This
is followed by a forty five (45) minutes hike along the trails,
leading to the area where you are assisted into the river
water to start your float through the cave systems.You will
end up at the same point where you started the hike.
Changing rooms and restroom facilities are at the park.
Time to change up and head back to drop off area.
